Obituary for Jane Ann Peloghitis (Abhau)
Our Beloved Jane A. (Abhau) Peloghitis, 79, of Red Hill, passed away, Monday, May 8, 2017. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Peloghitis.
A long term employee of the US Postal Service, Jane acted as Post Master of Old Zionsville P.O. for over ten years.
Jane was a life time member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church where she was a member of the Choir.
She was an avid gardener, world traveler, reader and quilter.
She is survived by brothers, Jack and Jim; sisters, Jo and Jeanne; six children, Peter J. Pelogitis, Damian M. Peloghitis, Mary E. Shermer, Christine M. Peloghitis, wife of John, John D. Peloghitis and wife, Ayushmi and Catherine A., wife of Travis Hense; and eight grandchildren, Joseph, Benjamin, Christopher, Stephen, Thomas, Sara, Serena and Jonah.
A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 15, 2017 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA with Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041. Offer sympathy to the family on our website at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
