Obituary for Paul Georgeff
Paul Georgeff, 90, widower of Mary LaRue (Brodbeck) Georgeff, of Red Hill, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at home surrounded by family.
Born in Mahanoy Plane, PA, he was the son of the late Peter and Margaret (Richardson) Georgeff.
Paul was a Material Manager at Philco Corporation in Philadelphia for 18 years. After that, he worked for West Chester Electric & Electronics as an industrial Electronics Manager for 26 years until retiring in 1989.
He was an active member of the Upper Bucks YMCA and St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Pennsburg. He also enjoyed playing the organ, accordion and harmonica.
He will be missed by his children, Linda Ann Stippich of Parkesburg, PA, Paul J. Georgeff of Philadelphia, PA and Marylarue M. Heald of Horsham, PA; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Nicholas Georgeff.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, Peter and Daniel Georgeff.
A funeral mass will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073 with the Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg. There will be a viewing from 11 until 12 noon at the church prior to the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA. Offer sympathy to the family on our website at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
