Obituary for Sondra J. Dykie (Flotree)
Sondra J. (Flotree) Dykie, 82, of Perkiomenville, widow of George M. Dykie, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at home.
Born in Bellingham, Washington, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Frances (Westman) Flotree.
She was a longtime member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Pennsburg, PA.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her children Michael (Kathy) Dykie, Cheryl “Cork” Bauer, Patrick (Barbara) Dykie, Cindy Dykie, Marilee “Barney” (Henry) Rowland, Matthew Dykie, Andrew (Nancy) Dykie, David (Angie) Dykie, Rebecca (Robert) Fitz and Jeffrey (Stephanie); 26 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073 with Rev. Robert C. Roncase officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Quakertown Road, Pennsburg. A visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2016 at the church prior to the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA. Offer sympathy to the family on our website at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Montgomery County SPCA, 19 East Ridge Pike, PO Box 222, Conshohocken, PA 19428-0222 and Mary’s Shelter, 714 W. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018.
