Obituary for Dr. John O. Pehek
John O. Pehek died at age 88 on September 15, 2016 in Quakertown, PA. He was born on July 20, 1928 in New York City to Mildred and John Pehek. He married Astrid (Johnson) Pehek on May 25, 1957 in Weston, CT.
He attended Brooklyn Tech in New York City and subsequently received his B.S. from University of Michigan, M.S. from Perdue University, and Ph.D. in Physics from Syracuse University.
He served in the Air Force as a mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Astrid Pehek, of Quakertown, PA, daughter Betsy Pehek of
Solon, OH, daughter Ellen Pehek of Hampton, NJ, son Paul Pehek of Quakertown, PA,
grandson Matthew Headen and Maria Headen of Solon, OH.
There will be a memorial service in the spring of 2017.
