Obituary for Alicia Leigh Derr
Alicia Leigh Derr, 26, of Barto, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
Born in Bryn Mawr, PA she was the daughter of Chershe L. (Yoder) and Ernest P. Derr of Barto.
Alicia was a 2008 graduate of West-Mont Christian Academy, Pottstown; a Suma Cum Laude graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Gwynedd Mercy College, Gwynedd Valley, PA; and was currently taking classes for her Master’s degree in accounting from the University of Scranton, Scranton, PA.
She worked at the Cornerstone Shopping Center Subway, Bechtelsville for 10 years and in Customer Service/Sales for the Campbell Manufacturing Inc., Bechtelsville.
Alicia was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Barto.
Surviving in addition to her two parents; is her significant other, Matthew Cross, Royersford and Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road, Barto, PA 19504 with Rev. Matthew Ollikainen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. There will be a visitation from 9 am until 11 am, Friday at the church.
