Maureen  Nicholas (Barr)
Maureen (Barr) Nicholas, 72, of Pennsburg, PA passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Richard B. Nicholas celebrating 44 years of marriage on August 22nd.

Born in Pontypool, Wales, United Kingdom, she was a daughter of the late James Barr and Jennie Lovinia.

She retired as the Vice President of Administration for Bank of America in 2004. She was then involved in Grand View Hospital Volunteer Services for many years.

Surviving along with her husband, is a daughter, Julie Lynn Bonasto of Canyon Country, California; two granddaughters, Jennifer Lynn and Hayley Vanessa; three great grandchildren, Kayla Lynn, Molly Nicole and Logan Xavier and a sister Janet Chambers and brother Lawrence Barr both of England.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
