Obituary for Joan C. Pyne (Clouden)
Joan C. Pyne, 82, of Hereford, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at her residence in Hereford.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Sadie V. (Yaeck) Clouden.
Joan was a 1951 graduate of Girls High School in Philadelphia and a 1954 graduate of Allentown Hospital School of Nursing. As a Registered Nurse for 58 years she worked in Urgent Care for 21 years and Allentown Osteopathic for 28 years.
Joan attended Community Bible Fellowship Church in Red Hill. She enjoyed spending time with her family and trips to Potter county. Gardening, knitting, sewing and caring for many pets also brought joy in her life. She also shared her love and talent for playing the piano and organ with many throughout her lifetime.
Surviving are three children, Douglas M. Pyne and his wife, Karla of Boyertown, Kimberly J. Pyne of Boyertown and Donald B. Pyne and his wife, Jennifer of Macungie; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother; Russell Clouden Jr. and his wife, Marlene of Breinigsville and two nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 with the Rev. Roy Luckenbill officiating.
