Derek Chilton, 86 husband of Kathleen M. (Dale) Chilton and the late Barbara (Brady) Chilton, of East Greenville, died, Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Pennsburg Manor.

Born in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, England; he was the son, late Richard and Mona (Lowther) Chilton.
He worked as a Heavy Equipment and Truck Mechanic for Glasgow Inc., Glenside, PA.

Derek was a member of Trinity Great Swamp United Church of Christ, Spinnerstown, PA.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Susan, wife of Michael Amberg of East Greenville and Stacy, wife of James Ridge of San Marcos, CA; a son-in-law, David Cook of Perkiomenville; and two grandchildren, Heather and Andrew Cook of Oregon. Along with his first wife and parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Cook.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience to the family.
