Obituary for Mildred Charlene Cosgrove (Heiss)
Mildred Charlene (Heiss) Cosgrove, 80, of Powhatan, VA, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016 at Envoy at the Meadows in Goochland, VA.
Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Mildred (Garris) Heiss.
Charlene worked as an office manager for Air Product in Trexlertown.
She was a member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Quakertown.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas A. Cosgrove and his wife, Nadine of Powhatan, VA and John Cosgrove and his wife, Michelle of Kintnersville, PA; five grandchildren, Corey, Chris, Melissa, Stephen and Cody and four great-grandchildren, Genevieve, Cooper, Jacob and Madalyn with one on the way. She was predeceased by a son, Stephen Cosgrove and a brother, Frank J. Heiss, Sr.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Grace Bible Fellowship Church, 1811 Old Bethlehem Pike, Quakertown, PA 18951 with Rev. Ron Kohl officiating. Burial will be held in St. Isidore’s Cemetery in Quakertown. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
