Gladys (Wynne) Allen, 76 widow of Archie Allen, of Green Lane, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Good Shepherd Nursing & Rehab, Bethlehem.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Samuel C. and Gladys M. (Weaver) Wynne.

Gladys worked for 25 years in parts manufacturing at Ford Electronic, Lansdale, where she retired in 1998. She is a member of New Hanover Lutheran Church, Gilbertsville.
Surviving are her children, Archie Allen and wife, Sharon, Alburtis, Kathleen Moyer and companion, Michael Orlando, Wernersville, Robert Allen, Green Lane, Joseph Allen, East Greenville, and Chance Allen, Green Lane; siblings, William Wynne and wife, Heather, Roxborough, Kathleen wife of Richard Taylor, Roxborough, Thomas Wynne and wife, Margaret, New Jersey, Charles Wynne and wife, Carol, Audubon, and Ella Mae wife of Rick Clemson, Roxborough; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased along with her parents and husband, a son, Samuel Allen and a brother, Martin “Mike” Wynne.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041. Burial will be private in New Hanover Lutheran Cemetery, Gilbertsville. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral Home.
